So I finished writing my fantasy novel, and even printed out the first draft in paperback. I’m so happy I managed to finish writing the first draft of this fantasy book, and I wanted to celebrate with you all and chat about it. I go over what the book is about, how I came up with the idea, and the published book (A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik) that triggered me to finally write it. We discuss magic systems and Romanian folklore and also talk about how I prepared outlining the book before writing it. Then I go over the process of writing the book and how that went, with all its ups and downs and blunders along the way.
