Finally, here is my book review of Oathbringer, the third book in the epic fantasy series, Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. This will be a spoiler free book review, so don’t worry if you haven’t read this book or any of the books in the series.
This review will go over the pacing issues I had with the book, what I thought of all the main characters, mainly Dalinar, Kaladin and Shallan, as well as some crossover characters from the Cosmere. I also touch a little bit on the romance subplot of this book, the worldbuilding and magic system, as well as Sanderson’s prose, and what I feel are his strengths and weaknesses as a fantasy writer.
As this is one of my all time favourite epic fantasy series, I am very excited to have finally read Oathbringer, the third book, so I can move on to the fourth book soon, Rythm Of War.
